My ten favorite things about The Acres:
1. I got to share it with Mom.
2. There's always work to do.
3. When a flower blooms for the first time.
4. When I stumble on a brand new wild flower my Gardening Angels have planted for me.
5. The Green Throne--though it's white now.
6. The Pond in late summer.
7. Mowing the grass--especially in the fall when the barn swallows join me for a feast. Catering bugs is my specialty.
8. Slow, quiet, meditative walks.
9. Iris time.
10. I can sense His presence there.
