Soldiers

Remember whose soldier you are today:

Be sure you begin your day prayerfully putting on the whole armor--of God. Truth. Righteousness. Peace. Faith. Salvation. You'll need every part of it. Self manufactured armor is of no use whatsoever.
Sharpen your sword.
Remember who the enemy is--and isn't. Your neighbor you love as Christ loves you. Resist the enemy and he will flee from you. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
Endure hardship. A soldier's life is the life of the tent. After the battle you go Home. And rest.
Stand firm. Stand still and see.
Don't become entangled with the things of this world.
Fight the good fight of faith.
Be on the alert.
Remember your fellow soldiers in persevering prayer.
Be strong in the strength of His might. Be strong and very courageous.
Do not fear or be dismayed. The Lord your God is with you wherever you go. The Lord of Hosts. Mighty in battle.
Not to the strong is the battle, but to the true and the faithful victory is promised through grace.
