Joseph--probably
my favorite Bible person--always knew he was in God's presence. And
acted accordingly. What does that look like? A work of faith--obeying
God confident that the outcome of your obedience will be to His glory
and for your good--and, more importantly, for the good of all His
children. A labor of love--obeying God no matter how difficult it is
because you have a deep awareness of His love for you. A steadfastness
of hope--persevering obedience knowing that such obedience builds proven
character--a character that exults continually and confidently in His
redeeming love for a sinner like you.
And now abides these three: faith, hope, love. And the greatest of these is love.
Practice the presence of God.
