The Reason

There is always a difference between what I have envisioned for my life and the life that He creates for me. Sometimes it's a chasm. The reason for that?

He's a whole lot smarter than I am--infinitely wiser.

His glory is more important than my glory. (And my glory seems to be at the core of many of my plans. Dare I admit most)

He refuses to quit loving me with all His heart.

He wants my blessings to be eternal not temporal.

And then--and this is one of those truths that leaves me speechless--when I get to heaven, He'll tell me "thank you" for submitting and being obedient to His plan.

God is love.
