The One

The highest priority of the Good Shepherd is the loving pursuit of his lamb who has gone astray. And not to punish him or her but to gently take them up in His arms and celebrate their renewed love for one another. Shouldn't we be Jesus' arms in such pursuits? And if you're the one gone astray, the sound you hear behind you are His pursuing steps of love.
