Revival

America does not need a revival. The church does. Revival begins when I say, "By God's grace, even if no one else is following Him, I will follow." "Though none go with me, still I must follow."
America does not need to be saved. My neighbors do. Too often we hide behind our generalities. "Preaching" those generalities are so much easier than going next door and sharing His love. Much safer too!
I think that more than we need Christian music, Christian novels, Christian art, Christian movies, Christian drama--not that those are wrong--what we need are Christians in the "secular" environment who are great musicians, great writers, great artists, great movie makers, great dramatists. We need to encourage those among us who are gifted in the arts to be excellent creators. They must not hide their creativity behind a label that the unsaved world will simply ignore and remain unreached.
