Moral Cowardice

This has been on my heart for a week or so. May as well say it. How can a man say in one breath that his faith teaches him that life begins at conception, and then in his next breath say that it is fine with him if someone pays someone else to destroy that human life? How can he claim to be an advocate of social justice and then refuse to defend the most helpless and innocent human beings? I find such moral cowardice appalling. Move over Pilate. I'm afraid millions of my fellow citizens need room to wash their hands of innocent blood.
