Who He Is

He is the sovereign God of the universe, the holy God of love. He is the God who never makes a mistake. His plan always glorifies Him. His plan for our life has been bathed in His love and concern for our well-being. He knows exactly what needs to happen and when it needs to happen in order for us to become victorious Christians in all things. When He is silent, or responds in a way we don't want Him too, or responds in a way we don't understand at all, it's not because He doesn't love us anymore or is picking on us. His wisdom and love know that this is precisely what needs to happen. His plan is perfect. His love inescapable. His sovereign will flawless. Even when everything seems lost and hopeless, we must rest in His wisdom, embrace His loving will. Then, the worst of times will be the best of times, we will sense His love more deeply, and our hearts will be filled with a joyful song.
