Eagle's Wings

     "They shall mount up with wings like eagles."  The God of renewal takes those who wait on Him and gives them eagle's wings.  What a remarkable portrait of strength that is!  The greater the winds of adversity, the easier the flight of faith on our eagle's wings.  The cares of the earth are far beneath us; our hearts are in the heavenlies.  We are content with the winds, even though we cannot see them nor know where they will lead us.  We know the Director of the winds, and our source of strength is our confidence in Him.  To sail in winds requires--demands--no effort of our own.  We just rest and wait and soar.  "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles."
