Two Levels

There are only two levels of obedience: obedience and disobedience. Incomplete obedience is disobedience. To love is to obey. To obey is to worship. Too often we live with one foot in the world; we don't want to give up Egypt. Or we keep looking over our shoulder to see if Sodom is still there. Spiritually, there is no "best of both worlds." We are too entangled with the temporary things of this world when we let them keep us from obedience.
