Love Does Not . . .

A Reminder:

Love does not use guilt as motivation.
Love does not seek to control.
Loves does not demand to be loved back.
Love is not afraid of being hurt.
Love does not produce fear in the heart of the one loved.
Love does not frustrate.
Love is not judgmental.
Love is not afraid to trust.
Love is not silent.
Love does not react in self-defense.
Love does not believe that hurting someone is "no big deal."
Love cannot be "fallen out of."
Love is not impatient.
Love is not possessive--the one loved is encouraged to love others.
Love is eager to forgive--and need not be asked to do so.
Love is not "put out" by the faults of the one loved.

We love because He first loved us.
