Grace and Truth

Jesus was "filled with grace and truth." To be filled with grace and not truth is to be half filled--dare, I say half-empty. Yes, we are to be "speaking the truth in love." But we are to be speaking the truth. To not do so is to be unloving. And yes, if you speak the truth in love you will be condemned as unloving and in the most hateful terms. Which, of course, gives you a greater opportunity to be gracious and loving. Christ-likeness requires a life full of grace and truth.
