Welcome Home

One of the most remarkable truths in the relationship we have with our Shepherd is that He calls us by name. He doesn't just know our names; He calls us by name. The omnipotent, eternal God, sitting on His throne in Heaven, surrounded by His angels, speaks of me as His Al. And the same is true for you as His child. You are not just one of His disciples. He knows you personally, individually. When my mom goes Home, He won't ask her name. He'll hold out His loving arms and say "Grace, welcome Home." And He'll do the same with you and me.
