Heart-breaking

Nothing is more heart-breaking than knowing those who have surveyed the wondrous cross, seen and recognized the unasked for, freely offered, sacrificial love of Jesus, and to see them turn and walk away from such amazing love to pursue other gods--usually their own intellect, the deifying of themselves. What an eternity awaits them. I in some small way identify with the tears of Jesus looking at Jerusalem and crying "how often I wanted to gather your children . . . but you were unwilling."
