Accusers

Satan is called "the accuser of the brethren." I'm afraid that too often I do his work. Why am I always looking around at other believers and being so critical about where they are in Christ, or some insignificant doctrine we disagree on, or how they treat me? And letting everyone else know exactly what I think of them? Gossip is a sin. Even if what I say is true, it's still gossip. The Christian walk is never about how others treat me, but always about how I treat others.

"Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me and know my anxious thoughts; and see if there be any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way."

Lord, let me do your work--not the work of the enemy. "Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to his edification."
